School Renovation Project
This project was a $24.7 million integrated design process utilizing the CM/GC contracting method consistent with the Owner’s requirements, while adhering to all applicable Colorado Dept. of Education guidelines, standards, and high-performance building requirements. The facilities improvement plan entailed nine separate projects, all interrelated.
The Ouray County Courthouse Restoration Project was a $9 million-dollar project utilizing the CM/GC contracting method. Renovations and repairs included mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems replacements; exterior site work; drainage mitigation and water damage repair; interior repair; sidewalk and landscape improvements; enhanced ADA compliance, and main entrance porch rebuild.
The Ridgway Public Library was a $1.8 million-dollar project utilizing the design build contracting method. The project consists of renovations within the existing facility as well as an addition of roughly 2000 square feet.
Montezuma County
New Combined Court Facility consolidated the 22nd Judicial District of Colorado. The facility was LEED Gold certified + or - 33,000 square feet, supporting an occupant load of approximately 668 including staff and public. Building and site work construction costs were budgeted at 8.5 million utilizing a Construction Manager/General Contractor (CM/GC) approach to project delivery.
